Covid-19 Update
JANUARY: Once again, St Catherine's is closed for communal Sunday Worship, as from Sunday 10th January. @Home Sunday Worship continues in our WhatsApp group from 2pm, as does Daily Prayer on other days. (A link can be provided on request). Edited highlights of our WhatsApp services are posted on YouTube later in the day.
CHURCH SERVICES: Public Worship inside the church is currently suspended. When the church is able to open again, we will follow the pattern of covid-secure worship displayed above.
ON-LINE SERVICES: Sunday Worship & Daily Prayer are held at 2pm on WhatsApp. To join in, contact us via st.catherines@gmx.com.
YOUTUBE: Highlights of our Sunday WhatsApp Services and Daily Prayer can be viewed on the St Catherine's YouTube Channel. There is a link to the most recent Sunday below.
COMMUNITY CARE: There is a strong need for us to all look after each other as much as we can. While we need to avoid physical contact, please make good use of your telephone to keep in contact with friends and neighbours - especially those who are not connected to the internet. The vicar, Rob, can be contacted on 07961 011040.
LOCAL NETWORK: There are two mutual support networks: one for Dollis Hill Ward and one for Dudden Hill Ward.
Dollis Hill Ward residents can call 0208 914 7891 or email DollisHillMutualAid@gmail.com
Dudden Hill Ward residents can call 07588541399 or email Duddenhillmutualaid@gmail.com
Please pass this information on to those who may need help and to those who may be able to offer help. These are volunteer networks and are our best defence against the scammers and fraudsters that are exploiting the crisis.
AND FINALLY: It is our strong belief that all people are God’s people and that all people’s love is equally valued by God. This is not a time for religious groups to be self-promoting; it is a time for all people - whatever their creed - to roll up their proverbial sleeves and love their neighbours (particularly those in greatest need) as themselves. There is a great need for those who can go out and about to run errands for those who cannot. There is also a great need for those who are confined to their homes to phone their friends and neighbours, providing essential companionship, which we all need.
APlease play your part.

Welcome to St Catherine's, Neasden
St Catherine’s is a gathering of ordinary people who share a love for God and a love for the local community.
We are not perfect, but we believe in trying to express God’s love and his forgiveness in the everyday challenges of life.
Our inspiration comes from Jesus, who spoke a lot about generosity and forgiveness, and very little about religion or morality.
We believe that Jesus’ life and message is worth sharing because it inspires ordinary people to live well.
We believe that God loves us as we are, that he forgives what we have been, and that he helps us to become what we can be.
We believe that there is more to life than our brief existence on Earth, and that God offers a new life to all who learn to love and be loved.
The Vicar, Rob Harrison is available in the Church Office most mornings. When the OPEN sign is by the side entrance, you are welcome to call in.
